Caregiver (FT)

The client is looking for a caregiver to help her Mon – Fri, 9a-7p, and on alternating Sundays. She has severe nerve pain in her jaw, neck and head, restless leg syndrome, arthritis, mobility issues, and is a fall risk. Approx. 140lbs 5’4. the client was a very active, athlete who loved Yoga and loves news, sports, and the Dodgers. She needs a caregiver who can help with cooking healthy, high protein meals and assist with personal care/sponge bathing, toileting, partial transferring, light housekeeping, laundry and possibly shopping/errands. Lots of stairs in the home however only uses these when Leaving the home. The caregiver should have good body mechanics and know appropriate assist lift transferer technique and be able to physically assist the client with all ADL's. There is a well-established routine with written instruction in the home to help the caregiver acclimate quickly. The client's daughter lives and works in the home so is available to assist when needed. The Client would like to interview caregivers before starting care, preferably by Zoom. The caregiver should have 5 years experience as a caregiver.
