Full-time Caregiver

JFS Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable companion to assist a mobility-challenged client in her home. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for clients with similar needs and be able to provide assistance around the home. No personal care is required for this client.

Key Responsibilities:

– Help the client with mobility and transfers using a wheelchair

– Prepare meals and assist with clean-up

– Provide companionship and engage in activities to promote cognitive stimulation

– Ensure the client’s safety and well-being at all times

Requirements:

– Previous experience as a caregiver, preferably with mobility-challenged clients

– Ability to physically assist with transfers and mobility using a wheelchair

– Patience, empathy, and a caring demeanor

– Ability to communicate effectively and follow care plans as directed
